E-STATION 2024 – ARTWALK in Lech

The combination of electromobility and sustainability

The ‘e-station’ at the ARTWALK in Lech is an impressive fusion of art and functionality that picks up on the themes of sustainability and electromobility. At a height of around 6.5 metres, the sculpture is made of robust Corten steel combined with stainless steel. This choice of material gives the artwork a raw, industrial aesthetic that perfectly matches the representation of energy and technology.

A monument to green energy

Art meets technology

At the centre of the artwork are two charging stations for electric vehicles, designed in the form of a transformer. The tangle of cables that artfully winds around the construction symbolises the complexity of modern energy infrastructure and the challenges of the energy transition.

Rethinking Energy

The e-station as a symbol of sustainability

The ‘e-station’ is not only a functional part of electromobility, but also an artistic statement. It shows that technological innovation and sustainability can be harmoniously combined in an artistic form of expression.
